About Me

Stephen Groden is a top age group athlete that currently resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he spends his time training as a full time athlete. He began the sport of triathlons in 2006, after watching the Ironman World Championships on television. With no previous experience in any of the three disciplines, Stephen has once again proven that anyone can accomplish their aspired dreams. Having only completed his first full year of racing, Stephen is on a fast track to becoming one of the youngest pros in the world.

Over the course of the 2007 season, Stephen competed in eleven races around the world, with top podium finishes at St. Croix 70.3, Subaru Muskoka Chase Triathlon, and the Redman half ironman. After an outstanding start to the season, Stephen successfully qualified for the 2007 Ford Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Clearwater, Florida, where he raced as the youngest American athlete.
